Seprate plates on the same cylinder.

We run a lot of jobs that use the same die so we are playing with the idea of running 4 to 5 different jobs on the same plate and just running one lane each. The problem we ran into is the quantities on each job change with each run, so now we are trying to figure out how to take 5 1 across jobs and mount all of them on the same cylinder, they all use the same die and everything, we have never done anything like this before and was wondering if anybody else here has tried this and has any comments on it, good or bad? The only reason we need to change the single plates around is so we can group them by quantity instead of making new plates with a grouping on it every time, try to save some money this way. What do you guys do in these types of situations? We are actively trying to reduce setups and increase run times by running groups fyi

Totally doable if they are one color jobs. As long as there are marks on the plate to align with a scribe mark on the cylinder and your plate mounter can read a ruler to to get the distance across correct.
